This is the X-Particles version of the project shown in this tutorial:
This project allows you to explode a Voronoi Fracture object using the power of X-Particles - giving you limitless possibilities to mess with the motion of the fragments! X-Particles allows you to add forces, spin and turbulence to your particles, as well as allowing you to build complex systems of secondary particles, fluids and more!
The set-up is slightly more involved than the Mograph version, but the results will speak for themselves. A how-to guide is included as an Annotation tag. It is fiddly, but the beauty of X-Particles allows granular control.
This project file requires Cinema 4D Studio r18+ & X-Particles 3.5+
Due to C.O.F.F.E.E. being deprecated in r20:
these files are not compatible with Cinema 4D r20 (yet) but you can download Maxon's COFFEE Filter to address this, if you have already purchased the product.
