SPECIAL NOTE : As COVID-19 forces the world – each of us - to stay at home, with border lockdowns in place and multiplying, plus the growing awareness that, just like any social media post can go viral, so too can a virus [hmmm…], I felt I could help alleviate some of your edge as we all hope for the best but brace for the worst.

This is serious. And I encourage everybody to be overly cautious, stay at home unless it’s urgent, and try to make due as we can, from quarantine, self-isolation, social-distancing, or whatever preventative measure to limit contamination you need to take, as the world collaborates to find a vaccine, and we can get back to our regularly scheduled lives, when that eventually occurs.

In the meantime, I have refurbished an old sale from the new year, in which I suggested the following re a Mirror Comics Studios Bundle :

I had no idea it would turn out like this when I originally wrote that just a few months ago.

I was just excited about making comics and releasing books in 2020, after a long hermit mystique absence, and returning to meet with fans in my community. Sadly, most all public events are cancelled, and rightly so. I was looking forward to showing people my new books, but as I’ve said elsewhere…

My publishing plans are adapting, and will continue to respond to the crisis, for as long as I can continue to do so. I am not infected, but many of us could be in a short period of time. The incubation period is two weeks, which means any one of us could have it right now, and simply not know it until two weeks later.

WARNING : Comics is not a cure!!! (but, in this exceptional context, comics could save lives).

I know friends and family who may be infected, and I am concerned for them. I work from home so my routine is largely the same, but the models predict that everyone should work from home also, so I encourage you to do so, and to read comics if you need to. It’s okay.

Listen. I figured that you might be at home too, or isolated, maybe marooned in a far off land that you don’t understand as well as back home, maybe worse… the truth is we’re all in this together but we’re each of us in a unique situation. I just thought that if you needed some soul-food for your isolation, maybe I can help, however alone or sick or uncertain you are feeling right now.
