In the 3rd installment of Creative Environments for Games, I discuss how to develop an interior location for video game development, based on the same design brief introduced in the 1st video . From a rough line drawing, I block in my values utilizing the same techniques discussed in Environment Design Basics 1 - Composition & Value
In this tutorial, I also cover how to lead the viewer eye with lighting, and how to establish an interesting location that a player would want to interact with.
Included in the workshop are:
- 50 minute video tutorial with full audio
- Original high-res PSD & JPG files
- Various notes files discussed during demonstration
