Companion to Thomas the Rhymer - The Queen of Elphame: Hidden Goddess of the Scottish Witch Trials

This is a richly illustrated, ten page research paper exploring a figure who is crucially important, but mostly overlooked by academia. 

It was originally published in Mythology Magazine Issue 1, but is provided here on it's own as a companion to Vol III of the "European Fairy Tales Series," featuring Thomas the Rhymer. 

The Queen of Elphame, I argue, is literally an Indo-European goddess who lived in for hundreds of years in the folk tradition after the conversion to Christianity.
