Once completed you will be able to understand spoken and written French; it will also allow you to actively engage in conversations with an abundant vocabulary of several thousand words. This is a modern course, revised by Monique Cossard and the Foreign Service French staff. It follows a format of learning, practice and progress at your own pace, which is standard to these courses.
