Another drop-in component from Nifty Access. Download the database, copy the Form into your database.

You will be able to select any of your tables from the “Select a table Combo Box”. The “Choose a Field Combo Box” will display a list of Fields in the selected table. Pick out the field that contains the entries that you want to become names of sheets in an Excel spreadsheet. Press the Command Button “Export MS Access Table/Query” and it will transfer the data into the Excel Spreadsheet for you.

There’s no coding to do, it works straight out of the box. However prerequisites! Have a look at the video first, it shows you the sort of table you should present it with, and the sort of results you will get back. If you use it with other types of tables, then it may well return useful information for you, but just be aware of it is designed to handle a specific case as described in the video. You will need to watch the video and decide if it is of any use to you.
