Welcome to the Clowning of America.

Revolutionaries are no longer draped in flags of fifty shades of red; instead, HR & Marketing departments of multibillion mega-corporations spearhead social revolution through rainbow filters and quirky social media posts -- regardless of antagonizing a large portion of their client base. Big Tech need not adhere to the First Amendment and journalists act as activist stooges for the Establishment. If you don't like it, well, you'll just be deplatformed or unpersoned. Seething outrage mobs hellbent on ruining your lives might dredge up your personal information and harry your employer into handing you your marching orders.

And what about the political representatives for this increasingly alienated group?

They will pallidly try to resist the mob, while groveling for their acceptance by going along with their rules. If you're lucky, some personalities might momentarily call out what's wrong with the current climate, only to pull a U-turn when the heat gets to them. Some might also espouse certain social views while simultaneously champion economic positions which undermine those social views.

All that really matters is economics. Any semblance of identity beyond conspicuous consumerism is problematic -- and you wouldn't want that, would you? Now, in an extremely online age, the socio-cultural battle has assumed an internet form. Memes are a proxy for language, growing discontent, and various archetypes. However, memes have begun to take on a human form.
