The videos that you would normally upload to IGTV are not the same videos that you would upload to YouTube. In a lot of cases, creators make native content for each of these platforms but increasingly creators have started posting recycled content from YouTube to other Social Media. This also comes from a reference to GaryVee's Content Model which talks about repurposing long-form content into snippets that can be uploaded to Social Media.
The format and resolution of the videos that you would normally upload onto YouTube (which is usually 16:9 or 2:1) are not that same that you would upload onto Social Media (which is usually 1:1 or 1:2). To convert your videos for this purpose, you have to either have to use a professional video editing software or upload the video to an online site which then processes the video and allows you to download it. Both of these methods add unnecessary complications to a super simple task along with some privacy concerns. And sometimes, the quality of the output video isn’t the best—which in my opinion is unacceptable.
We wanted a desktop app where we could select options on how our output video would look like and then literally just click a button to render it out—while retaining the best possible quality and size of the output video. That’s how AutoPad came into existence.

You can fit the video edge-to-edge, zoom in or out or move it up or to the sides. AutoPad also gives you a preview window so that you know exactly what you're rendering out.
