About Jacqueline
Jacqueline Whitney started sharing her unfiltered thoughts online in 2015 as a way to cope with her struggles. As a teenager, she loved academics and playing volleyball and felt assured about her prospects for the future. Everything suddenly changed when a genetic condition affected her ability to exercise for more than a few minutes at a time. One surgery after another soon followed, with the last operation resulting in a brain injury. Jacqueline loved reading but could no longer read without needing to sleep for hours afterward. After months of trying to finish high school, she decided to withdraw, then persevered to get her GED. Jacqueline then began her long journey to healing. She turned to writing and started sharing her words on Instagram, where thousands experiencing similar struggles continue to be uplifted by her words each day. Sharing her words has provided Jacqueline a unique path to healing, one she hopes will inspire others on their journey to feeling whole again.
