Bird In Public: The Take-Twitter-Seriously System and 30-day Cohort

Learn how to grow on Twitter:

Implement a Take-Twitter-Seriously System in a community for 30 days.

But hold on, why the Take-Twitter-Seriously System?

I'm Craig Burgess — known in small but powerful circles as “The Barnsley Badman”.

I got some very satisfying Twitter results and think you can too:

In 2020 nobody knew who I was.

In 2021 4,000 people on Twitter know me as the guy who gets things done.

By 2022 - this number should double again.

What will people know you for?

When you use the system, you'll put in enough work to finally figure out how you can use Twitter.

This makes all the difference.

What changed?

I stopped overthinking and adopted a simple routine.

I changed my mind from "perfect" to "experiment".

I wrote more tweets

I learned to have fun.

In just 30 days of BirdInPublic you will:

Write more — quantity over quality.

Get repeatable results.

Experiment with style and content.

Procrastinate less and take action more.

Develop the do-it-now muscle and mindset.

As a bonus: you’ll notice what works for you and the people of Twitter.

Learn and build a Twitter following in community - so you're not alone.

How it works

For 30 days, we’ll ask you to adopt the #BirdInPublic mindset and method.

You'll tweet more, reply more, and get hands-on experience with how Twitter works.

Time to decide:

Three reasons for NO:

You aren’t ready to tweet something every day.

You aren’t ready to learn.

You don't want to get better.

Three reasons for "YES - I'LL  JOIN BIRD IN PUBLIC":

You want to understand how Twitter works.

You like the mind-shift from "perfect" to "experiment".

You will commit to daily practice.

More of the Craig Burgess Story

In January 2020 I had around 800 followers on Twitter. The stats were dismal.

My tweets were seen only 15,000 times and I lost 4 followers.

I was about to become a Qwitter. It wasn’t serving me and it felt like a waste of time.

But, I made a simple decision, developed and implemented a system and finally got predictable results.

I took Twitter seriously for 12 months before teaming up with Brian Ball to create this cohort.

Now, in January 2021 I had 3,975 followers

My tweets were seen 1.4 million times and I gained 676 new followers.

Twitter helped me:

  • Acquire expertise
  • Build global connections
  • Cash in by promoting his authentic work

Those are the ABCs of the Take Twitter Seriously System -- so join us and Bird In Public.
