WHY CIRCLES OF CONNECTION?
One of the valuable insights that I learned after the past 18 months after my diagnosis was to value the connection that I have with people. However, part of that learning is also to acknowledge that the energy that I have is one of my most precious resource. Energy, not time, was what I learned and is still learning to manage. That is why I appreciate the insights presented by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz in the book "The Power of Full Engagement: Managing Energy Not Time, is the Key to High Performance and Personal Renewal."
One question from the book that has kept me checking in with myself was:
"How should I spend my energy in a way that is consistent with my deepest values?"
That was when I started looking at how my deep need for connection is synchronous with the energy that I use. It is the reason why the question "who would I like to connect with?" is one of the striking features of the Soulcare Weekly Planner.
Circles of Connection is a tool to check in with yourself on the connections that you have around you and the energy that you give for each connection. It is a "visual" reminder of the people that we interact with on a daily basis and to weigh in on how much that connection is favorable to our well-being.
I am sharing this FREE TOOL with you in the hopes of encouraging you to explore your Circles of Connection. Please do share this link with your partner or friends so they too can reflect on the connections that they have or would like to form.
This tool can be used separately with the Soulcare Weekly Planner, but if you want to put more emphasis on the connections that you have and would like to set that as an intention for the coming year then please do check out the Soulcare Weekly Planner that I have created.
