A Private Global Citrus Community
Discussion
The value we get back from good discussions is something we always realize when coming back from a conference, trade fair or other industry event. Bringing the stakeholders together and having these discussions within a private community makes it a valuable resource for everyone. And by having them asynchronous online, in a safe environment, pulls them beyond the borders of time and place, available for current and future members to read.
Groups
As there are many stakeholders in different areas of citrus expertise, groups will allow for more specific focused conversations. Whether it is on new robotics for picking in a new tech group, on HLB in a research group or on PEF preservation in a juice processing group... there will be space to find your peers and have in-depth discussions, or even take it to a next level:
Online events
The platform allows to have AMA's (Ask Me Anything live sessions) with key researchers, heads of industry or to organize smaller scale virtual events in a specific field of interest. So rather than focus on 1 or 2 major events per year, there is room for more continuous learning and diving into current developments.
Private Community Resources
Over the years I built a great collection of resources where to find citrus specific news and information. Opening it up to the citreae community will only further increase its value and allow for improvement and enrichment.
To give you an idea what you will find there:

- Many of the companies directly or indirectly linked to the citrus industry
- Universities with a special focus department on citrus
