The simple melody can be embellished successfully with some relatively easy ideas but also affords a wealth of exploration: (1) chord substitutions to create some lovely bass lines using simple two note chords; (2) valley rolls; (3) arpeggio fills; (4) combining valley rolls and arpeggio fills; (5) melodic runs; (6) the advantages of left hand lead; and (7) variations.
