Hilagyo / Essence

"Hilagyo" is a Filipino visual poem turned into a book, about finding love in yourself and in others. It has been translated into English with the title "Essence". The book is A5 in size, 60 pages in total, some colored pages, black and white inside, drawn and laid out by dettsu.

My visual poetry books are often done in an illustration book style, with each illustration or spread supported by a line from the full poem.
