Have you ever told your family and friends that you wanted to travel and/or live in Asia and you were told the following:
"Women In Asia are too skinny. You want a girl with some meat on her bones!"
"Asians are racist towards black people!"
"Asian women don't want no black man!"
"You need to stay in [your home country], get a job, and start a family!"
"Don't forget who you are and where you came from!"
"You go to Asia because you can't get a woman at home?!"
I've been there.
In 2012, I had enough of living in the United States. I wasn't able to get a job despite having a college degree (HA!), was terrible with women, and was a socially awkward nerd.
Moving overseas changed all of that and then some.
However, it wasn't easy.
Not only a lot of what I was told about being a black man in Asia was incorrect, but there was also a lot more to being there that no one outside of the country knew about!
Everything men are told by people that never left their home country was shattered in my eight years. A lot of my experiences were amazing and some not so much.
If you were to type "black in Korea" or "black in Japan" on YouTube, you'll find mostly black women talk about their experiences, mainly dealing with racism and sexism.
This book exists to counteract the same old song of depression porn and presents proof alongside good news and actionable methods.
A lot of what you'll find in this book is based on my personal experience that took eight years to understand.
If you don't want to take that long to figure out the hard stuff, this book is for you.
Why Men Date Thin Women will help you understand the following:
How I laughed in the face of racism and how you can, too (chapter 4)
What dating is like in South Korea and Japan for black men [how to build your own harem] (Chapter 9)
Recognizing South Korean cults and how to either avoid or annoy them (Chapter 10)
How Love Is The Greatest Weapon Of All (Chapter 5)
What Korean Superstitions Are And Why To Laugh At Them (Chapter 7)
How To Be An Actor In A South Korean Drama (Chapter 11)
AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!
After you have finished reading this guide, I guarantee you’ll have a MUCH better idea of what life in South Korea is like for black people. If you're ready to no longer feel like a victim in your own home and want to see how I did so, this book is for you.
Don’t waste your time like I did trying to figure stuff out and/or watching the same types of videos on YouTube. Consuming victim porn does you no good.
In my book you’ll learn the ins and outs of my time in Asia and how you can transform your mind and self.
