Files for making the elephant head from paper.

The final size of the model: 54 x 39 x 27 cm

Complexity: medium

Files included:

- PDF Instructions (Eng, Rus);

- PDF file for print;

- Bonus: DXF file for plotter.

Paper needed:

- Density 200-250 gr/m ²;

- Sheet must be either А4 (210 x 297 mm) or А3+ (320 x 450 mm);

- With А4 you will need: 16 colored sheets, 4 white sheets;

- With А3+ you will need: 6 colored sheets, 1 white sheet.

You will also need:

- Sharp edged knife;

- Metal ruler;

- Cardboard for the base;

- Glue (for example UHU or PVA wood glue);

- Cutting surface (this could be glass, an old piece of linoleum, or a clean kitchen cutting board).

What to do:

- Print the template (the size of the finished model made with А4 is same as the one that made with А3)

- Cut along solid lines

- Incise along dotted lines

- Bend along dotted lines

- Glue according to numeration

Paper templates are in PDF, optimized for printing and cutting by hand. We also provide a DXF version for cutting on your own plotter. Drawings and instructions are designed to ensure that any adult is able to create the sculpture of their choice. To assemble a model you do not need special skills, only your carefulness is needed. The build time of this model is 6-8 hours. I recommend you divide the assembly process for a couple of quiet evenings, in a calm environment you can rest from everyday problems and devote yourself to the creative process of creating a model.

Чертежи для сборки головы слона из бумаги

Размер модели в собранном виде: 54 x 39 x 27 см

Какая нужна бумага:

- Плотность 200-250 гр./м²;

- Формат листа либо А4 (210 x 297 мм) либо А3+ (320 x 450 мм);

- Если А4: 16 цветных листов, 4 белых листа;

- Если А3+: 6 оранжевых листов, 1 белый лист.

Также потребуется:

- Канцелярский нож;

- Линейка;

- Лист пивного картона А3;

- Тюбик клея (например, UHU или Metylan для обойных стыков);

- Поверхность для резки (это может быть стекло, старый кусок линолеума или чистая кухонная разделочная доска).

Эта модель хорошо продумана для сборки из бумаги. Удобный формат (можно использовать файлы в формате PDF для печати на принтере, а для владельцев плоттеров Silhouette Cameo или других мы подготовили DXF файлы), приятная графика, понятные иллюстрации к порядку сборки, всё это позволяет сделать склейку полигональной фигуры интересной и последовательной. Чертежи и инструкции подготовлены так, чтобы собрать модель смог любой взрослый человек. Достаточно только купить нужные материалы и найти типографию, где могут распечатать выкройку. Время сборки: 6-8 часов.
