Field Trip Permission Slip

When you are organising a field trip for your class or preschool it’s essential that you get permission from parents or guardians as it is a change from your normal school setting.

Parents need to be informed where their children are at all times, and who they are with. A field trip permission slip is typically how you make sure you have written confirmation that parents are allowing their child to participate, and it also alerts them to any costs that may be associated with the field trip.

I find it’s a good way to get any special concerns that parents have.

I have made a template of the field trip permission slip that I have perfected over many years of preschool teaching.

Sometimes I also like to add an extra line where parents can volunteer to come along an assist the field trip. It never hurts to have an extra pair of adult hands!
