This chapbook titled "Desire and the Scent of Guava" collects my most recent poetry work. As the title suggests, they're poems that arose from my feelings about intimacy and romance as a trans woman of color in a nascent relationship whose previous experiences of desire consist largely of longing for safety, struggling to survive, wanting to feel welcome, and working to attain these necessities for other trans women.
Poems from this chapbook have been published in Dysphoria Collective Zine #2 and The Coalition Zine.
