85 photos of Otters, from zoos or sanctuaries. As an avid artist of creatures, both those of our worlds, and others, I have become a compulsive reference photo taker. After a class I took recently I realized others may not have had access to the amount or variety of animals that I have seen at zoos and sanctuaries and thus I would like to provide these photos, on a donation basis, to help other artists in their study of a variety of marvelous creatures. These are freely given with a Creative Commons license, use as you like for commercial or personal projects with zero attribution needed. I hope they help. If you feel like donating, money that you send will be happily put towards more photos and keeping these photo projects updated.
Note: these aren't photo-edited, and I use these for art reference, photographing quick-moving otters in high contrast light is tough, and I am not a pro. However, there are a TON of great swoopy spiraling otter poses and silhouettes here if you want to know how crazy these creatures can move. There are quite a few photos in this collection where the best feature is a silhouette, or one paw, sometimes they just aren't crisp, the cover photos are a pretty good idea of the quality of these shots. These are left in with hopes mostly that they be useful for anatomy reference more so than retouching or editing, I left them in my own personal files for that reason, so thought I would give others the opportunity to keep them or not as they see fit.
