Sexual misconduct matters involving domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking allegations present unique issues for higher education institutions. From assessing ongoing safety concerns to navigating interviews with parties who have been in a domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking situation, Title IX coordinators, investigators, and adjudicators face distinct challenges when handling such matters.

Join us for a 60-minute training focused on issues in domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking matters, specifically designed for Title IX coordinators, investigators, and adjudicators. This training will address key challenges including: third party reports and requests for no action, assessing ongoing safety concerns, definitions of key terms, interviewing the parties, handling cross-complaints, and using electronic evidence. Our training is conducted by Higher Education attorneys who regularly advise institutions on all aspects of the sexual misconduct process, from policy drafting through the final resolution of sexual misconduct matters. Because these attorneys also have extensive experience investigating and adjudicating sexual misconduct cases for institutions, including matters involving domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, this training incorporates first-hand, real world experience and provides practical guidance on navigating the complex issues that arise during the complaint resolution process.
