Hi, my name is Gordon Duncan, and I am a consultant, writer, educator, and teacher. I’ve been in the hiring, consulting, medical, and the manufacturing industries for the past 20 years. Companies bring me in to improve their hiring processes, and sometimes they hire me for the purpose of filling specific positions. Most recently, I oversaw all hiring for a $25 million, multi-state, manufacturing company. During that time, I reviewed thousands of resumes and hired hundreds of employees.
Two things kept most applicants from getting a job, and neither of them were experience.
