This 25 minute practice focuses on practice of hip accents up and down with a variety of stationary and moving drills. Beginning simply with slow, stationary drills, Audra increases the complexity of the drills as the session progresses, resulting in a challenging multi-level practice session for dancers from beginner through to experienced.
Pulling aspects from the new Dark Side Dance Program, accents up and down with the hips are paired with foot patterns, arm paths as well as alternating with chest locks and alternating directions. A 16 count combination is also presented in both drilling and dance form. These drills are NOT style specific.
