How does it feel? This wasn’t the intended title for the book—as I was looking through work to showcase in this book, this question came to mind—I became obsessed with it. I asked myself this as I curated each collection and the book as a whole; I even began asking this question in every aspect of my life beyond the book, as you’ll read in the intro.
I found more fulfillment when I saw these images curated into collections rather than individually—I felt it more. This book wasn’t created to impress, but rather to express a feeling in each collection and the book as a whole. You may feel something different towards the curated collection than I did and that’s the beauty of this project. As you flip through take time and make sure to ask yourself: “how does it feel?”
About Andrew Kearns
Andrew first picked up a camera back in 2011, about the same time he discovered his love for the outdoors. The two worked in harmony together, and he found his favorite thing to document was his friends and their experience with nature—he’s been fortunate enough to be doing that for a living since 2015. After thousands of photos and hundreds of vlogs later, his ambitions have only become greater—with a plan and a purpose he’s pushing towards greater things in the future.
