Dr. Nancy Irwin, a psychologist who works with creative professionals quite extensively, has specific expertise in treating writers block, performance anxiety, and lack of confidence. 

She has also served as a script & story consultant for writers/filmmakers using hypnosis as key elements in their stories. 

Dr. Irwin is on staff at Seasons in Malibu, a well known alcohol and substance abuse treatment center, where she helps patients recover from addiction and its underlying causes (trauma, abuse, organic mental illness, etc).
