The chores are organized into 4 categories – chores for good hygiene, chores for their bedroom, chores for our home, and other misc. tasks to complete.

I have found that itemizing chores for younger kids makes cleaning more fun for them! With a big list of small tasks, they have more to mark off and the can see progress faster, which makes them less likely to become bored or overwhelmed. So, rather than listing "clean your room", on their charts, I list ALL the tasks that need to be done in their room: make your bed, pick up your toys, put your laundry away, etc. My kids absolutely love this method, and I'm confident that yours will too!
