This is an attempt at making a comic using only panels. Traditionally, panels are used to hold meaning in, to contain meaning. By withholding this “content”, the piece becomes about relationships between shapes and spaces. Story and character are still present, but simplified. Does the act of holding back keep us from comprehension and connection, or does it force us to rely on more intuitive understanding? Does constrained meaning still contain meaning?
