Please note: these macros are intended for use with 32-bit format documents only (e.g. rational TIFF files saved from DeepSkyStacker).
Workflow aids for astrophotography editing, including functions like tone stretching, star eating, motion deconvolution, nonlinear sharpening and adding star glow.
Perform automated tone stretching.
Add subtle or soft star glow.
Remove excessive star detail to promote focus on other deep sky objects.
Adjust luminosity and saturation of star detail.
Gradient removal using flat frame subtraction.
Non-linear sharpening (avoids black halos around star detail).
RGB luminosity layers: boost channel detail e.g. for red spectrum objects.
Motion deconvolution: remove slight star trailing.
See the included PDF for installation instructions and a detailed explanation of how to use the macros.
