This six-week program will introduce you to yoga in a way that will directly help your skating, whether you're getting ready for your assessment or just want to finesse your on-the-track skills. Each week includes sections on strength, balance, stretching/recovery, breath, and the mental game. As you learn new yoga movements, you'll strengthen and mobilize the same muscles used WFTDA minimum skills such as:
- skating posture and stride
- plow stops
- one-foot glides
Minimum Skills includes a private Facebook group for questions, comments, and motivation--and a one-on-one Skype session with Kickit to get really specific about what you need!
