During the 2019/2020 Australian bushfire season an estimated 1 billion animals have been killed and some endangered species may be driven to extinction.

Wildlife rescue organisations are working hard to help save the lives of injured wildlife. Many of them are volunteer driven non-profit organisations and rely on donations to keep on going.
