Melete Zine: Issue 1

The Melete Zine is intended to be a collaboration between artists and literary scholars/critics to create a zine that is both a work of art and a meditation on different fandoms. Every issue (we hope to make a few) will draw upon a new theme. It will be up to the artists and essayists to create a work inspired by that theme.

Things are born in the space where things have died. We learn, we grow, we start again. Our inaugural zine focuses on life cycles, transformation, and new beginnings.

The first issue includes five essays, each with a full-color illustration to introduce them.
