I am new to eBooks, do I need special programs to open this?

What's DRM?

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a system which applies layers of security to digital files in order to try to prevent piracy (such as requiring you to lock your books to an account, or requiring you to verify your purchase with a serial number or key-code). These methods are, of course, not successful. They only serve to inconvenience paying customers. I have personally been burned one-too-many times by draconian DRM... and thus, I believe there has to be a better way. This is why this bundle contains no DRM whatsoever. You can read them on whatever device you want. You can lend them to your friends as easily as a physical book. Why? Because I am willing to trust my customers, instead of treating them like criminals.
