New Teacher Mastermind Membership

The New Teacher Masterminds are 3 hours per month, meeting 1.5 hours through Zoom every other week and have 5-10 teachers each. The minimum commitment is 3 months in order to allow time for meaningful, supportive relationships with other members. 

Membership in the New Teacher Mastermind groups also include enrollment in my online course: The Ultimate New Teacher Summer Workshop, which is an 8-module course walking new teachers through planning everything for their year -- from standards-based curriculum to setting up positive family relationships and planning for restorative practices.

The purpose of the New Teacher Masterminds is to fill gaps from teacher preparation programs and give new teachers a solid foundation for their first years. Most of all, they are designed to provide ongoing, responsive professional development throughout the year in a safe, confidential space. They were designed to address some of the biggest challenges I’ve heard from new teachers: a need for trusted mentors, focused reflection, constructive feedback, fresh ideas, professional community, and the feeling that they are contributing meaningfully to the profession. All of these contribute to teacher efficacy and ultimately, teacher retention.

They’re hands-down the best way for new teachers to cut the learning curve, gain personalized classroom support, and focus on what matters most: making the difference that only they can in their students’ lives. Why? Because Teacher Masterminds are designed to focus on deep PD for what you need help with right now with other motivated teachers just like you.
