Nudist Beaches – a Talking Points Lesson Plan for English Reading & Speaking
Nudist Beaches – a Talking Points Lesson Plan for English Reading & Speaking
This is part of the Talking Points lesson series for Intermediate to Advanced students.
Are there any nudist beaches in the country where you are teaching? Or would people be horrified by it?
In some parts of the world, there are beaches – and private organisations – for people to discard their clothes and become as nature intended. Without clothes for all the world to see.
Some countries and cultures are appalled by the idea of a nudist beach. And you may find that your students are very divided on the question. It could surely cause a lot of amusement!
But this lesson plan will also create a lot of discussion in your class. It is perfect to use in any English or ESL class.
The lesson comes complete with:
• a 500-word article
• a table of essential vocabulary
• a big list of questions for discussion
Start the class with the three opening questions and then do the reading. Then you can go through all the vocabulary – or set it as homework for the students to do later.
Then there is a big list of questions that are designed to get your students talking.
It comes in easy to use PDF format, ideal for printing for your needs. Use it again and again for your English/ESL classes.
