CafePress' official store templates don't scale down for mobile screens. Customers constantly need to zoom in just to see your designs and read your descriptions, making for a very frustrating experience. Chances are people are leaving your store simply because they can't see or navigate it easily.
My mobile friendly, responsive custom CafePress store template will make your shop pages look good on any size screen, from a regular desktop monitor, right down to a standard mobile phone screen in portrait mode. Your customers will no longer need to zoom in just to see your designs on a small screen!
The template is easy to install with full step by step instructions. Easy to match to your preferred color scheme, and easy to customize further with plenty of documentation within the store template code itself, explaining parts you may want to adjust further. You should be able to set up this template in under 30 minutes!
Keep customers in your store longer with my mobile friendly custom CafePress store template that will showcase your designs on any size screen.
See the live demo site at http://www.cafepress.com/tetlifeNOTE: This template is not endorsed by CafePress and has been created by a long time CafePress store keeper (i.e. me) who just wanted a custom store template that would look good on any device. Official word from CafePress (as at September 5th, 2019 in the CP Forum) is that mobile friendly shop templates are 'coming soon' but they weren't able to give a specific timeframe for their release.
What's included and other info...
Your download includes a single zip file containing a PDF document with full instructions on how to install and customize the template to your preferred color scheme. Three text files containing the Header Tags (style sheet), Header Code, and Footer code, that you will copy and paste into your CafePress Custom HTML page for your store.
You'll notice in the template that individual product description pages do not scale to the width of the screen on smaller mobile devices, however the main product image is greatly reduced so your customer will notice the information alongside. This is due to the way the product pages are coded by CafePress (using HTML Tables) making it difficult to restructure the layout of these pages.
Documentation within the template code itself is fairly comprehensive making further customization fairly easy for anyone with some HTML and CSS knowledge.
