(First Released: May 22nd, 2017)

In 1944, the serial The Great Alaskan Mystery was tearing up theaters...as in, people were ripping the walls down to escape the drudgery that was showcased onscreen.  By Chapter 4, the tension had wound so high that the filmmakers clearly thought the audience needed a break and spent much of the nearly twenty minute serial showing a bunch of people discussing what to do next.  All that nonsense about death rays, Nazi spies, and desperadoes?  Hogwash, more talking!

The One Man Band returns to the riffing world by taking on the fourth chapter of this Great Alaskan Menace, pointing out all the foibles, goofiness, and getting the audience to ask the tough questions, such as:

1. Why is Hudson's tie so small?

2. Could Grit possibly be some sort of Gollum-esque mutant who has evolved without a known brainstem in the depths of the mine?

3. Seriously, this thing is about death rays and Nazi spies and this is the best they could do?

Plus, hear the first few sentences ever uttered out loud by the One Man Band's new potential partner in riffing, Reginald!  (For those wondering who Reginald is, be sure to tune in to Chapter 6 of the Alaskan Mystery Crossover for more details.)

Don't miss the other episodes in this riffing crossover event!  Go visit the Wordpress page at https://thegreatalaskanmysteryriff.wordpress.com/ for a list of the participants, or see the other fine One Man Band products for more riffing hilarity!

(This VOD of a public domain serial has all the materials included; no separate movie is required for viewing!  Purchase entitles you to both the SD copy and one with HD content, which may be of Dubious Additional Value!)
