Hi, I'm Maria, the founder of the vegan recipe website Earth of Maria, and I was once in the same situation. I went vegan in 2015, but when I started university, I found myself relying on takeout and boring, throw-together meals. Then, I discovered meal prep.


Why meal prep?

The concept of prepping your meals ahead of time may seem overwhelming and time-consuming, but when you have the right instructions and recipes that work, it doesn't need to take more than 2 or 3 hours every week - if that. Plus, you can split your meal prep up in half, doing some of it on a Sunday and some on a Wednesday.

I put together this guide to help you either get started with the process, or discover new recipes to avoid eating boring food. After all there's no need for that! With beautiful photos, time-saving tips, and crystal clear instructions, you'll never have to feel overwhelmed by meal prep again.

Meal prep is one of the tools that helped me achieve fitness results like this in just 8 weeks, by allowing me to plan my meals ahead of time and fuel my workouts with delicious and wholesome food. This is despite the fact that I'm incredibly busy, and hate eating boring food - hence I like to make sure that each meal I prepare doesn't miss any flavour.
