photo prompt is an artist publication that doubles as an experimental writing workbook.

As well as being an important part of our emotional and mental architecture, words are an exquisite type of art material. They can be used to build new ‘spaces’ (i.e. texts); spaces that can be read, shared and performed.

Think of photo prompt as a ‘device’ to help you flex those creative muscles and generate unique, new texts. It contains ten images that can form the starting point for your own text-based artwork or poem.
