Pile is a simple application to manage scholarly papers as you read them.

Pile helps you find manuscripts to read from arXiv.org, and automatically saves your favorites for offline reading.

Pile's inbox organizes the literature that you've selected, helping you plow through it quickly. Pile's papers will open in your favorite PDF reader.

Pile manages an archive of the papers you've finished reading, so you can search for old literature easily. Pile has all of your old PDFs, but keeps them out of your way.

Here are some screenshots of Pile.

Pile is a desktop application that works on Windows, OSX, and Linux, and requires the latest version of Java.

Pile is currently in alpha, and will continue to be updated as time goes on. Pile is open source; your contribution here supports further development.

Pile is developed and maintained by Anand Gupta, a student of Harvard University and 2012 Thiel Fellow.
