Gold Leaf Lettered Canvas Social & Craft Workshop

Bring a friend, or make new ones and join us for our Statement Art Social & Craft Workshop! We'll be making gold-leaf lettered canvases that you'll be able to customize to fit your home decor and your favorite holiday or motivational statement.

This gold-leaf lettered canvas workshop is not only about teaching you an easy skill but it is also a way for you to exercise your creative energy and have fun.

This is a great social activity with plenty of time for chatting and visiting while we paint and script these personalized decor pieces. Choose the color you will paint your background and choose the short saying you will write on the canvas with gold leaf. It sounds fancy, but it's super easy! No handwriting skills necessary, this project is for beginners!

On Saturday, October 17th, we'll meet at the workshop space on the corner of Germann Road and McQueen (exact details after you register) from 3- 5 pm.

Your $25 ticket price includes

• all the materials you will need for the 2-hour workshop, which includes your finished project to take home (or give as a gift to someone you love!)

• light refreshments

• a goodie bag filled with some small gifts for you!

What to expect:

• an afternoon with a little bit of a "party vibe" so that means decorations, snacks and fun!

• a supply kit with instructions so you can make your work of art

• a leisurely pace of demonstration at a beginner's level so there will be time to talk and eat during the workshop

• an on-time drawing to reward the punctual people
