Heather was distinguished by the titular head of Design at the University of Missouri in her written and graphic project "The big idea". As a result the project was requested to be presented and kept with the Dean of the Department. Throughout her career as University educator the artist was asked interesting designs as a challenge to her creativity. At the request of the head of Department of the University Park, Parkville, MO, Heather designed the class "Hispanic-American thought". Throughout her career, Heather received recognition and praise from art teachers, colleagues and those who know her work. Currently the artist has part of her artwork on exhibition.

Heather fue distinguida por la jefa de catedra del Departamento de diseño en la Universidad de Missouri en su projecto gráfico y escrito y "la gran idea". En reconocimiento a sus méritos el proyecto fue ofrecido a la Decana del Departamento. A pedido de la Jefa de Departamento de la Universidad Park, Parkville, MO, Heather ha diseñado la clase "Pensamiento Hispanoamericano". A lo largo de su carrera, Heather recibió reconcimiento a su trabajo de maestros del arte, colegas y elogios de quienes conocen su trabajo. Actualmente la artista tiene parte de su obra en exhibición.
