Three shelf buttons to quickly copy/paste/replace a material from one face to your selection on other objects/faces without having to open the hypershade
WARNING before using these scripts:
If you're using Maya 2018 please install service pack 6 or later
If you're using Maya 2017 please install service pack 5 or later
FEATURES:
-Copy the material from a face and store it in the clipboard with one click
-Paste the material from the clipboard to your selection, supports objects and components
-Replace an entire material id with the material in the clipboard by selecting a single face and using the replace tool. This can save a lot time if you just want to swap mat ids without opening the hypershade
-If you select an object instead of a face the tool will copy the first material it finds on the object into the clipboard
-Copied material is stored in the clipboard until a new material is copied or Maya is closed
-Much faster than loading the Hypershade and finding the material you're looking for, similar idea to the eye dropper tool from 3ds Max
-Free updates, includes any improvements made to the script after purchase, download the same file again to get the update
