Are you a minister who struggles to create or maintain margins in your life? If so, you are not alone. Almost every clergyperson I have coached has raised issues around self-care at some point in the coaching relationship. As a result of these coaching conversations as well as my attempts to balance the many challenges and opportunities in my own life, I have developed a framework for creating self-care strategies. That framework is made up of five Ps: priorities, permission, planning, parameters, and partners. This 24-page guide will take you through the five Ps, offering reflection questions and observations to help you design your own plan for replenishment. It will also offer some prompts for thinking about how to give yourself grace when tasks go undone. You are encouraged to print the guide and use it as a workbook, as there is ample response space for each reflection point.
