From War to Peace DVD

David has just completed a 42 min documentary titled From War to Peace that brings to light the stories of the Generals Monash and Chauvel and the also largely untold stories of the Indigenous troopers.

We explore the significant role that the ANZACs played by defeating the 400-year rule of the Ottoman Caliphate in the Middle East. The Light Horse victories, particularly in Romani, Beersheba and the Megiddo sweep, together with the Balfour declaration helped create the conditions for the re-establishment of the modern state of Israel in 1948.

To tell the story we have key experts to convey with passion their take on this nationally important chapter of Australia’s history, assisted by film and photos of the time.
