COMBO - Carving Traditional Cookie Molds
This lesson shows how to carve 2 traditional cookie molds in cherry (often called Springerle cookie molds). One lesson is carving a Windmill Cookie and one a Gingerbread Man. This is incised carving and all details are carved into the wood. When cookie dough is pressed into the carved mold, a reverse image is created.
In this highly detailed and practical lesson from a classical woodcarver, you see every step so you can develop your own carving abilities. It's one of those lessons you'll want to watch again and again.
