In a follow-up to our July 21st Reflections on Changes to Long-Term Care panel, join Money Follows the Person (MFP) director Shawn Brice, with VOYCE Program Director Chien Hung, in a discussion on the effects of the novel coronavirus on an essential social program. MFP primarily interacts with skilled nursing residents who are transitioning to Assisted Living and Residential Care spaces. What, if any, changes were introduced to the program's operations because of the pandemic? What steps did MFP take to continue successfully transitioning clients? And how can facility administrators and social workers effectively utilize this program?

Examine keys for success for the Missouri MFP Program

Discuss ways facility management can help successfully transition residents

Define ombudsman role and capacity to assist in the transition of residents to ALFs/RCFs

Predict the future and direction of the MFP program as a result of the pandemic
