Radiant Rig XL 4.5.2 is the latest version of the Radiant Rig add-on I developed back in 2013. XL uses calculus, linear algebra and 500 years of art convention to quickly and easily rig humanoid figures with the click of a button. Radiant Rig XL is only available for blender 3D version 2.76 and later.
Version 4.5 does a better job of fitting a rig to the fingers and face of the selected mesh. It also contains extra controls for further refinement. Use these controls to stretch, curl, straighten or shift the fingers.
Radiant Rig XL works best with figures that have realistic human proportions. As the characters deviate from realistic human proportions into hugely exaggerated dimensions, it’s less successful. I am always improving the algorithm however so overtime Radiant Rig XL will capture a greater range of body types.
