About me
My name is Peter Brinkhuis and I'm the owner of CAD Booster, where I develop add-ins for SOLIDWORKS. I automate 2D drawings with Drew and make working with fasteners fun with Lightning.
I'm a mechanical engineer by trade and have been using SOLIDWORKS since my first internship 16 years ago. In my engineering days, I gathered a lot of random tips to improve SOLIDWORKS performance. But I never really understood what determined the speed of my models.
So in 2021, I set out to properly research the topic and write down everything I could find about performance and SOLIDWORKS. I am happy to present my results to you now.
