It was interesting, didn't feel like a predator movie though.
This was an amazing movie. Borimir: “In a dream, the eastern sky grew dark. But in the west a pale light lingered. A voice cried out Isildurs Bane is found.”. Aragorn: “Boromir that is called a sunset.”. Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened. Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. Anyone in 2020? I'm asking for this because if anyone sees this Have a Very Great New YEAR. The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit movies are great but if The Silmarillion comes as MOVIE it would be very Great.
Have a dad, Legolas. I love that. Why? Because the Uruks have dark skin? Then I guess every story in wich the bad guys aren't white must be racist. I recently got back from visiting the Hobbiton filming location in New Zealand. I was prepared to be dismayed but wow, I could not believe how insanely green and gorgeous everything was! If you're a huge fan of the shire, you must visit! Almost everything is absolutely real. Only a couple of trees and such are fake.
This movie is one of the best interpretations of a great novel to the big screen that I have ever seen. This is not an easy feat, being that we are talking about a science fiction/fantasy novel with characters such as hobbits, elves, dwarves, wizards, orcs, etc. But the use of special effects is (nearly) flawlessly applied in the director, Peter Jackson's, interpretation of the different races depicted in Tolkien's epic novels. Along with the stunning New Zealand landscape, which lends its own unique visual appeal, Jackson has created visual effects so astounding and so appealing that one is quickly drawn into the story, yet I did not feel overwhelmed. The screenplay does an excellent job of methodically telling the story of Frodo Baggins and the dilemma into which he is suddenly and mysteriously thrown. The movie left me with a feeling of satisfaction and a sense that I had been thoroughly entertained, but also with an intense desire to see those next two episodes which we know will be coming out in the next two years. In other words, the movie did what it was supposed to do, and did it splendidly! Now, I think it's time I go pull those books off my dusty bookshelf and.
Imagine watcing this movie for the first time and learning that the man who you did not expect to be anything other than a ranger and soldier is actually a descendant of isildur. Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.
Gimli: I never thought I'd die fighting side by side with an elf. Legolas: How about side by side with a friend? Gimli: Aye. I could do that. Gimli is the only sensible person here. Remember when we could go on adventures. When we couldn't just look everything up on a gps, when we didn't have maps of the world. Poor chainmail technicians! 2 years of work, my God. 0:57 - 1:10 best part. Lmao cant stop picturing that when Gandalf does the speech of Mordor I always picture Gandalf is basically saying to Boromir when he suddenly tries to touch the ring “SIT YO ASS BACK DOWN BOY.”. Such amazing music. My favourite trilogy of all time. Some people say harry potter is better, but I beg to differ for many years to come. Is it me or did he have the gauntlet on his left arm at first but when they go to shoot him, its on his right? 6:21. If I could give up everything just to live in Middle Earth. I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm homesick for the Shire. a world that doesn't even exist. You know when you get that ache in your chest and you get all choked up? That's how I feel when I listen to 2:10.
