After fourteen years of full-scale investigation of all things creative and tasty for Stil in Berlin and other outlets like Vogue and Highsnobiety, I know what is worth your time and money in this city. I moved here in 2003 as a young student and witnessed Berlin's transition from currywurst-central to legit foodie haven. Today, we enjoy a growing variety of cuisines and styles as well as the city's histories represented in long-time favorites. Trust me, it's been a journey. My judgement is always authentic: when I visit a new place, I never announce myself and always pay for my food – to be honest, I don't accept invites by places I don't know because I might end up not liking the food – which is always … awkward.
