Sketchnoting is great for taking memorable notes. But most people don’t think of trying it, because they claim they cannot draw. Turns out sketchnoting is not about drawing! It’s about active listening and recording with a visual vocabulary. Everyone can do it after some practice.
In this hands-on workshop you will learn the basic building blocks for sketchnoting:
- Letter styles
- Boxes, bubbles and ribbons
- Fun bullet points
After we practiced copying the visual vocabulary, you will put them in use, sketchnoting while I go through a few tips and tricks. At the end of the workshop you will have a sketchnote to remind you your new visual note taking skills.
Recorded at Write/Speak/Code 2017. See the resulting sketchnotes from other workshop attendees: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23sketchnoting4all
